As part of a security simulation process to assess the location of security cameras and the fields of view to ensure total coverage, the UK Treasury commissioned a full survey from Offset including detailed photogrammetry of the entire roof area and the basement volume of the main treasury building.

The on-site survey was allowed just one day to comply with security requirements and the subsequent office-based 3D modelling took a further 7 days using Offset’s Magan modelling technology leading to a full 3D layered and named model in Bentley Microstation with accuracies of +/- 5mm in the basement area & the majority of the roof area including all the target camera location points
