The requirement for this project called for a complete 3D model, which was to be used for refit purposes.
After performing a site survey, Offset delivered the 3D model in the Pasce format as required.
The model was accurate to +/- 5mm overall but even greater accuracy was implemented in key, customer-specified, sections of the model. This included flange tie-in points, which were surveyed individually, and were represented in the model at a tolerance of just +/- 2mm.
The site survey took eighteen man days to complete, with the 3D model taking forty, office-based, man days.
