RV Triton
No as-built 3D model existed of this prototype trimaran. Offset spent 8 man days surveying and photographing all aspects of the exterior of the vessel whilst in dock. The photogrammetry modelling team of 3 engineers then spent 2 weeks digitizing the photographic data to produce an accurate 3D model pictured here. The model was delivered in several formats including ACIS, IGES and DGN.
HMS Campbeltown
Offset spent 10 man days surveying and photographing all aspects of the exterior, from the deck upwards whilst in harbor. 50 days were spent digitizing the photographic data to produce an accurate 3D model pictured here. The model was delivered in IGES format. The completed 3D model of the ship was used to carry out radar signature simulations
HMS Westminster
Offset spent 10 man days surveying and photographing all aspects of the exterior, from the deck upwards whilst in harbor. 50 days were spent digitizing the photographic data to produce an accurate 3D model. The 3D model was then used to carry out evaluations of Goalkeeper gun positions using clash detection of the calculated trajectories of projectile debris.
Other Military Vehicles
Offset have produced various 3D models of military vehicles. Some uses of these models include weapon reconfigeration studies, software radar signature profiling and radio equipment installation studies.
