This laser scan project involved Offset Services producing an accurate laser pointcloud of over 1km of cliffs along the British coastline.

The survey was accomplished using a leapfrogging procedure with both the laser scanner itself and traditional surveying techniques using fixed positions. This allowed Offset to attain a very high degree of accuracy over such a great distance.

This data would be repeated in order to accurately analyse erosion over a number of years.
