The portable nature of digital photogrammetric equipment allows work in very confined and sometimes hazardous environments. Survey of this project required full breathing apparatus and chemical over-suits.
MaganJr Visual Databases were delivered within 2 days of the site visit and the full 3D model delivered in PDMS format.
Following a succesfull GRP pipe installation, designed using the 3D model provided by Offset, the client requested further modelling to the surrounding area to facilitate vessel renewal.
All new vessels were surveyed prior to installation and then positioned using PDMS to check for possible clashes. Further use was made of the 3D model to provide a simulation of the extraction and insertion routes, providing the whole virtual lifting operation as a movie. Click HERE to view this movie.
